Behind the scenes Walking Tour

One of the newest tours available at the Kentucky Derby Museum and Churchill Downs, guests will get to see the areas that are normal closed off to the general public. Tour guides will take you throughout the park, on a hour and half sneak peak of the Jockey's Quarters, Millionaires' Row, the Press Box, and other areas of Churchill Downs that are newly renovated. This exclusive tour can be purchased through contacting the Kentucky Derby Museum.

(Available March 15-November 30)

10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM

Sundays only: 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM

$10.00* (no discounts apply)

Children 4 and under are free

*Museum admission required

1 1/2 hour duration

Reservations

Reservations can be made for 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM tours only. The other tours are first come, first serve. To make a reservation: (502) 637-1111 ext. 242

Please Note:

Museum doors open at 7:00 AM for tour guests only.

This tour is offered everyday of the week during off-season and non-race days during the Spring and Fall Race Meet at Churchill Downs. Non-Race days, generally, are Mondays and Tuesdays of each week. Tours are not available during Derby Week, the week after Derby, or Breeder's Cup Week when held in Louisville, Kentucky.
