History of Kentucky

The Present

Moving ahead in the 1970's, Kentucky's agriculture is replaced by industry in many areas, while Tobacco continues to remain to be a large part of the economy but has decreased over the years.

Over the years Kentucky has grown to be infamous when it comes to raising horses, horse racing, producing great whiskey and wine, barbeque, bluegrass music, et cetera. More than those Kentucky has had some of their own natives rise up out of its own to become strategic in Kentucky's history by becoming explorers of the unknown, pioneers to bring about something better and frontiersmen whom have affected the next generations. To name just a few Kentucky claims: Daniel Boone, George Rogers Clark, Dr. Thomas Walker, Alben W. Barkley, Louis Brandeis, Cassius Marcellus Clay, Abraham Lincoln, Zachary Taylor, John Hunt Morgan, Colonel Harland Sanders, Thomas Hunt Morgan, Nathan B.
