Garrard County - Fork of Dix River Baptist Church

Marker # 1617 Forks of Dix River Baptist Church

This church was constituted at Forks of Dix River, 1782, by Lewis Craig of “ Traveling Church .” The first church building was log church built on Sugar Creek in Lancaster , KY. The present church was built out of brick and was dedicated in 1850. Randolph Hall, served as the first pastor. Hall also served in the American Revolutionary War.
