Western Kentucky
Ben Hawes - Owensboro Description - This area offers something for all skill levels, from the beginner to the more advanced rider. This is a multi-used area. And, if you don't have a bike you can rent one at the local golf proshop. ATV and horseback riding is prohibited. Directions - From Owensboro take HWY 60 west past the Ben Hawes Park main entrance on Booth Field Road. Travel HWY 60 west to Overstreet Rd. The parking lot and trailhead are located at the old George H. Rudy Mines and Saw Mill.
Canal Loop - Paducah Description - Located in the Land Between the Lakes area, it is a well maintained trail for riders of all skills with switchbacks and technical sections. Directions - Take exit 31 off of I-24 and go south 4 miles until you reach the north visitors station. The Visitors Station will have trail maps for the Canal Loop and the North/South Trail.
