Greenbo Lake State Resort Park: Enjoy a pristine landscape in the hills of Kentucky located in Greenup, Kentucky. At Greenbo Lake State Resort Park guests will find the Jesse Stuart Lodge, Anglers Cove Restaurant, camping, and an outdoor amphitheatre. Jesse Stuart Lodge has 36 rooms that feature private patios and balconies that overlook the beautiful Greenbo Lake. Rooms are available by late afternoon and check-out is by noon eastern time. Pets are not allowed (with the exception of service dogs). There are handicap accessible rooms also available. There are three levels. All first level rooms have a private patio. All second and third level rooms have private balconies. All rooms come with the following amenities: coffee maker, blow dryer, iron/ironing board, wireless internet access, cable television, telephone (with free local phone calls), air conditioning, and clock radios. Refrigerators are available at a cost of $5.00 per night (availability is limited). Cribs are also available at no charge but upon request. The Standard room has two double beds and are available on all three levels. The Handicap Accessible rooms have one queen sized bed and a chair that lets out into a twin sleeper and these are available on the first level only. These rooms have wider doorways which easily accommodate wheelchairs. The bathrooms are also accommodated with safety railings, with hand held shower heads and a shower chair. Camping at Greenbo Lake campground features 63 sites with utility hookups and 35 primitive sites. There are two dumping sites, two central service buildings with showers and restrooms, and a grocery store that guarantees camping convenience. The campground is closed for the season from mid-November to mid-March. The resort is located on KY 1, 18 miles north of I-64 from the Grayson exit.
